Come and join the Rethink Waste Tasmania team!

Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 per year. 

Term: Full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2028 

Location: Level 1, 17 Fenton Way, DEVONPORT

Are you passionate about working with others and nurturing behaviour change?

Rethink Waste Tasmania is seeking an Engagement Officer to join our team with Cradle Coast Waste Services to work in North West Tasmania to plan and deliver resource recovery based education programs and engage stakeholders in promoting sustainable waste management in Tasmania.

Responsibilities  

• Create and deliver engaging presentations and programs – from toddlers through to older people
• Develop and implement educational resources and initiatives
• Plan and deliver workshops and events
• Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate programs and report on progress
• Maintain records and financial administration
• Help to foster a safe work environment
