Occurring throughout November 2022

Do you live on Tasmania’s North West Coast? You’ll have the chance to dispose of old and unwanted household and garden chemicals this November at your nearest waste transfer station!

Throughout November, the following locations will accept hazardous waste on the designated dates and times:

• Thursday 3 November, 9am-12pm: Sheffield Waste Transfer Station
• Thursday 3 November, 1pm-4pm: Wynyard Waste Transfer Station
• Thursday 10 November, 10am-3pm: White Hills Waste Transfer Station, Smithton
• Thursday 17 November, 9am-12pm: Devonport Waste Transfer Station
• Thursday 17 November, 1pm-4pm: Central Coast Resource Recovery Centre, Ulverstone
• Thursday 24 November, 10am-12pm: Port Sorell Waste Transfer Station
• Thursday 24 November, 1pm-4pm: Burnie Waste Management Centre

Please note that for safety reasons, no early or late drop-offs will be accepted.

You’ll be able to dispose of the following items and rest assured they will be disposed of safely and responsibly:

• Solvents and household cleaners
• Floor care products
• Ammonia-based cleaners
• Pesticides and herbicides
• Poisons
• Pool chemicals
• Hobby chemicals
• Acids and alkalis
