Special collection services

Northern Midlands Council offers the following special collection services:

  • A sharps container collection at Council’s Customer Service Centre (13 Smith Street, Longford)
  • An annual hard waste collection for pensioners in November
  • Mobile phone collection at Council’s Customer Service Centre

Recycling Education

Circular North has two Recycling Education Officers who visit schools, residents, community groups and businesses to provide advice and education about recycling, including in the Northern Midlands council area. To find out more or to book a visit, contact Circular North.
