Clean Up The World Weekend

Clean Up the World was established in 1993 and is one of the largest community-based environmental programs in the world. Held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), this event mobilises an estimated 35 million volunteers from 130 countries annually.  Their vision is to inspire a billion people across all continents to tread lightly, clean up and conserve the planet. Kerbside Recycling Bin Assessments in the Cradle Coast

Bin assessments identify and quantify by volume the types of recyclables and contamination found in kerbside recycling bins.  Assessments also provide an opportunity for personalised education to residents on their recycling habits. Meander Valley Council – registrations for 2019 hardwaste collection

The annual  Meander Valley Council area Hard Waste Collection is an opportunity for residents to dispose of items that cannot be deposited in kerbside bins. Residents are required to register to receive the service. Registration information is used by Council’s contractors to ensure they have the appropriate number of vehicles and personnel available on collection day.
